This rare Mintons salt glaze oyster plate is a remarkable piece, featuring five large wells and a central sauce well. It is distinguished by an artful fish motif between each of the wells and it's matte salt glaze. This beautiful vintage plate has the classic "Mintons" mark -- a globe with "Mintons" and a crown above -- on the back, which was used from c.1873-1912 and denotes it as a replica of the original Staffordshire product from the 18th Century.
