These stunning beads are crafted by the Krobo people of Ghana, Africa, using traditional techniques that date back centuries. The process begins with crushing glass into a fine powder, which is then heated until it becomes liquid. This molten glass is poured into clay molds, with a cassava leaf stem used to create each hole. After baking in an oven, the glass fuses together while the cassava stem burns away. Each beaded necklace measures 26 inches in length, making them lovely additions to any vignette.
